The Pointless Detective Troop is a collaboration between Andrew Lysaught and me for Inktober 2019. Andrew wrote a short mystery story, and I drew one picture a day illustrating the story throughout the month of October.

Space Boy & Sea Girl was a zine created alongside Andrew Lysaught for Chicago Zinefest 2019. Andrew wrote the story for the zine, and I illustrated, designed, and bound it.

Mermaid Yoga was a mixed media project I created in 2019. I first illustrated the mermaids using pen and ink and watercolor and then digitally placed them on colorful backgrounds.

Fantastic Chicago is a colored ink series I created in the fall of 2018 to depict the magical side of the everyday in my favorite city.

Cry over Spilled Milk is a watercolor series I created in the spring of 2019. Sometimes, you just need to cry about the little or not-so-little things, and that’s ok.

I began illustrating couples in 2016, when one of my best friends was getting married. Whether it be illustrating a photo of you two that you already love or creating a new illustration based on something you enjoy doing together, I love working with my clients to create an illustration that captures their unique love story. With the support of a grant from Uptown United, I was able to paint a 18’ x 48’ mural on the side of the Wagnolia Veterinary Clinic in Uptown, Chicago. The process took 80+ hours over 10 days in 100+ degrees, and it was worth every minute!

Margaret and Tim of Intergalactic Cafes asked me to create a chalk mural for them in Satellite Cafe on Montrose in Uptown, Chicago.

I designed and illustrated this map of women’s history for the Frances Willard Museum & Archives in Evanston, IL.

I created these illustrations for friend and food blogger Laura Scherb of Page and Plate. You can see the recipe that the images go along with at her blog. In addition, I created a cute illustration for her 1,000 follower giveaway early in 2019.

Anime-like avatars created for Top Set Trekkers, a travel blog. The client and I worked through several stages of design before settling on one look for the illustration.
